Default Blu-Ray vs. Beer

Anyone ever have this dilemma: 10,12, or 20 bucks can buy you a 12 pack, case, or a happy hours worth of beer for those days/week or it can you buy a good deal on a blu ray which which willl sit on your shelf for years... If you're like me you probally decide on the blu/dvd sometimes and beer others...

Is that even a choice ? beer is so bitter and unless I need to force myself to puke I would never need beer LOL

To me choosing between booze and a Bluray disc would be like having to choose between being ugly, poor and sick vs Good-looking, rich and healthy

What's a good Blu-ray movie without some beers?! If I cannot drink at the theater I might as well do so at home

Definetely blu-ray for me. Beer is disgusting and bitter. When I tried to drink one, I feel like throwing up right away. Now, Patron or Grey Goose is a different story. But I usually drink these at parties with families.

Default Blu Savings Program

My new Blu savings program.

If I had purchased $1000.00 of Fannie Mae stock one year ago, it would now be worth $31.00. With Freddie Mac, I would have $37.25 left of the original $1000. With Lehman Brothers, less than $5.00 left.

If I had purchased $1000.00 of AIG stock I would have $44.00 left. If I had purchased Bear Stearns stock, I would have nothing left.

But, if I had purchased $1000.00 worth of beer one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling refund I would have $214.00 which represents about 10-11 Blus if I had gotten a good deal on them.

I started yesterday on this forward thinking plan.

Yeah you can. I am from Germany and we can buy beers in almost every theater (at least about 8 years ago- I sure hope nothing changed about that).
I have also been to the movies in the Netherlands, Italy and France and it was the same.
Chips- I am talking about proper potato chips, not french fries. Over here you only get crappy corn chips with horrible tasting liquid cheese on it. yuck!
