While the movie may have some flaws I thought it was a great IMAX experience for sure.
In 2014, that Great Clips IMAX theater replaced their 70mm projector with the SAME dual 2K system that is in all the small AMC 'IMAX' screens around. I pleaded with them to wait for the laser 4K system that IMAX is now rolling out. I almost cried.

Wow! Are you kidding so now they have a lesser quality film system now! does that mean the actual film prints they get now are now just being blown up to fit their screen that used to be the largest in the mod west.

Ouch I just saw Star Wars there I was surprised by the amount of ghosting the film had and wondered why since a friend said when she saw it in a normal theatre the ghosting didn't show so much.

Are other people experience cross-talk during the film? The review doesn't mention it. Like I said previously, I thought the the final act of the film seemed flawless, but some earlier parts were particularly bad.

Watched this last night on my 120" Projection in 3D.

Absolutely fantastic film! Great blind buy! Will use as a reference to show others when they come to my theater.

Same here. My store had 3 copies of the 3D version. Now they have 2. Nice price - thanks for the heads up!

Target had The Walk 3D for $17 after Cartwheel so I bought it. I was bored with it in theater. Watched it again at home and felt the same way. Sold.

[Show spoiler] That guard sounded like Tom Hanks to me.

A great blind buy! Picked it up at Target last week in 3D for $16.99 with the Cartwheel App. I just finished watching it, and I enjoyed it.

Did the same Sunday night. I followed up with the Man On Wire documentary that I've been shelving for a couple of years waiting to watch.

The truly amazing part is most of the most unbelievable parts in the movie were actually true. The film and the documentary are very close.

I watched this the other night and i didn't like it near as much as i thought i would. I felt there was too much fluff in there. Some two hour movies fly by, but this dragged to start. I don't feel they needed to go anywhere near as in depth with the Paris stuff. It really started to pick up when they actually got to the morning beforehand. I am glad i watched it, but glad i didn't buy it either.

I am stunned this movie has not gotten more attention and general love, i bought this on release date and have already watched it 4-5x and had a friend over to watch it in 3D this weekend and the response i kept getting was "Wow ... why have i not heard more about this movie" ???. This movie was an experience type movie we don't seem to get enough of these days; when it ends i keep wishing there was more. It was fun, exciting, dramatic, sentimental and the ending was one of the best finales i have seen in movies in a long time. Sometimes i wonder why i buy a movie and other times i love a movie so much i wonder how much more i would have paid to own it lol.

I grabbed this as part of best buy's 3 for $20
I was unsure, and only grabbed it cause I already had pretty much everything else.
I'm really glad I did.
The end killed me.
Forever... indeed. :'(

Picked this up at Best Buy tonight. 3D. With a very cool lenticular slip! I'm very impressed with it. The movie was awesome. I didn't plan on buying it, but when I saw it I couldn't pass if up. Plus wifey had $10 to use...

What a coincidence, I also picked it up at Best Buy tonight. I would have liked to see it in 3D, and I've been buying 3D releases to future-proof my collection, but with 4K not offering 3D, who knows if I'll ever even get a 3D set now. Bunch of 3D discs for nothing.

I don't think a lot of people knew about the incident or had seen the documentary film about it.
