Rarely buy any of these DC animated movies, but I'm in for this one Day 1!

I've picked up a few others over the years cheap, but there are too many other things to watch that I don't usually bother with these, but being a fan of the 1960s Batman show, this looks fun.

Wouldn't it be great if they asked Michelle Pfeiffer or Anne Hathaway to voice Catwoman?

Hopefully this has some good action/fight scenes. Or maybe everything will be set in modern times and just only Batman and Robin remain campy. Oh Yea hope for steelbook too.

Batman and Robin should be played straight in a campy world! Just like the original series!

Hope they get the music right. There's a lot of ingredients that went into the original recipe for Batman66.

I expect this to be terrible. They will attempt to recapture the magic of the series, but play up the wrong elements. They'll never get the tone right. And if for some legal reason they can't use the iconic music, forget about it!

But...I'll get it anyway!

I would love a steelbook for this, but I know it won't happen....but I would also love to be wrong about that.

Target has been getting the DC steelbooks, so look for one of this one as well! Probably 5-6 per store as usual.

Definitely in for a Target steelbook. Hopefully Best Buy releases a version with a graphic novel, as well.
