well i cant afford it yet but if i was getting HD sound id go for this as you dont have to have a reciever as the decoding etc is done inside the subwoofer so it saves you space i think its cool its the ONKYO HTX22HD

Whoa! Wouldn't the bass form the sub affect the decoding?

its actually sold as a 2.1 system as it has the new dts DTS Surround Sensation system for surround sound effects from 2.1 speaker system but they just give you the option of buying the centre and 2 surround speakers as an add on to change it into a proper surround system.Has anyone heard this new DTS Surround Sensation system? i suppose if youre tight for money you could use that until you can afford the centre and surround speakers lol

Onkyo doesn't have it on their website yet, do they? I've checked and I couldn't find it.
