Default Kind of surprising

On the original topic, I love FRWL, it is definitely in my top 5. I find the intrigue very thrilling and love the spy scenes with Kerim Bey.

A little off topic, I am surprised at how many people like OHMSS, I thought it was just me. It is my favorite movie (and Bond book) and I can't wait for it to get to Blu. Unfortunately, I'll have to wade through the crummy ones like Moonraker, Octo***** and Licence to Kill before they get to it, I'm sure. My last note is that I don't think that Lazenby is a very good actor, but he definitely had the best written script/story to work with.

(LOL at the post editing the title above)

There was nothing wrong with license to kill or any of the Dalton films. A lot of people assume that the reason why the Bond franchise went on hold was because it flopped. While it did flop in the US it was because they screwed up the advertising than anything being wrong with the movie.

Yes there was also a lot of complaints about the Dalton Bond being to real world. Still both movies where huge successes. In 1990 The Property of a Lady which was meant to be Dalton's 3rd Bond film went into pre-production set for release in 91.

But Sony and MGM screwed it up with there rights issues. That was the reason the franchise was put on hold. Dalton for me was the second best actor to play Bond after Connery. It annoys me to this day that there are only 2 Bond films he has been in.
