SyFy has some good ones these days with this one and The Expanse. Dark Matter is never going to be on the level of BSG like The Expanse looks like it will, but it's very good sci-fi nonetheless.

I think Dark Matter has more potential with their characters than Killjoys, but Killjoys has done a better job building their world. Although considering how much corporations play a role in both shows, they could exist in the same universe.

And now that Nolan is flying around in deep space, you could bring Defiance into the mix.

I soooooo want that UK BD release of Killjoys. I'd rather have US Netflix back, though

Friday's episode was excellent. Liked seeing the Raza crew revert back to their original personalities.

This is a very underrated show. It seems to go under the radar in boards like this.

I also think Melissa O'Neil (2) has shown she's a solid actress despite not much experience on her resume. Wouldn't surprise me if she starts getting more acting offers.

Wow I didn't know how little experience she had going into this. Being she is kinda the lead for the series that is really surprising.

it's back on the air??? sweet!! I enjoyed the first season. it felt like a nice return to the early 2000 era of SyFy channel. kind of a hybrid of "Andromeda" meets "Farscape" meets "Firefly"...

Love what they did with the Android in the latest episode. Hope we see more of her used in this way throughout the season.

That would be the most likely candidate mainly because
[Show spoiler]he would have to flee for trying to kill Portia and Marcus to take over the alt-ship, and because he's the only face that matters to the main cast. Since Tash and Wexler were also in on the insurrection, they probably would want to flee too.

Yeah, I was thinking the same, but
[Show spoiler]come to think of it, there's no reason to assume it was just one person. Could be more than one "insurgent"
.
I really wish the series had longer seasons. 10-12 eps per season is too little

This show can barely afford the episodes it has. How many warehouses or forests are they going to visit?

I've been really enjoying this season. There are a lot of decent sub plots happening which is keeping it interesting.

Most of BSG was rather gloomy looking ship. Babylon 5 and DS9 didn't visit that many places either. I don't think it's necessary to have an interesting storyline. They did manage 20+ episodes.

This is just a solid show all around... there hasn't really been a dud episode. Even episodes where I read the info in the guide and think "meh" turn out to be solid episodes as you watch them... always a few extra things going on, and while they don't answer all the questions they pose, they are always advancing the plot in a meaningful way.

I love this show. The first season was really solid, but I thought the second season started out slow and somewhat dull. I was beginning to think it was only going to go downhill from there, but then about halfway through it picked up again for me. Thank god I stuck with it, because that penultimate episode was great! I was surprised with what they did with Four/Ryo. Only one more episode to go this season. It's going to be interesting to see where they take it.
