Glad we got a confirmation that 6(and of course 5) are coming in steelbook form. Many are worried it will stop with 4.

As of it being exclusive, the first 4 isnt, so unless they made a deal, it shouldnt be.

You will find a listing for YOUNG SHERLOCK HOLMES, or NIGHT SHIFT blu rays even though they don't exist.

This seems kind of odd, seeing as BB does the exclusive slips and there's already an existing wide release line of steelbooks.
Maybe BB is trying to corner the GoT BD market.

I wonder if this is a BB Exclusive. I personally don't think it is but who knows. I figured they'd continue with the slipcovers. I was hoping for a House Tully this time.

This is available for store pick-up pre-order now. I wasn't planning on getting it right away but since these don't seem to be wide releases, I'm worried they won't stay on the shelves as long as S1-4 have.

Just preorderd S5 and S6 and it does work. Season 5 says its available for store pick up, but says none is available at my local store. I chose shipping, but will change to store pick up once available

will others be carrying S5 & 6 steelbooks for GoT's? they list them as "only at BB" like they are exclusives or something.

what's really interesting is that I can't find a listing for S5 or 6 in a steelbook at amazon or target.

so, it's possible that only BB will be carrying the S5 & 6 steelbooks?!?

^ In the US it might be only Best Buy carrying these, but Im pretty sure they are available in some places overseas. Almost 100 percent certain I saw a UK thread for these somewhere in this forum.

Yeah, it should be an exclusive for BBY. I guess they chose to have the steelbook instead of continuing the exclusive slipcovers. Now, if only I could just buy the steelbook, no discs/DHD, at a cheap discount so I can get seasons 1-5 in steelbooks. Really excited that I don't have to wait till March to get Season 6. November 15 can't get here soon enough.

Also, in case you haven't noticed, BBY has a promo for GoT season 6 BD and steelbook, where you $10 in My BBY pts for preordering the SB this week. So, if it ends up $39.99 release, that will help with the cost on your next item from BBY.

yeah, I saw that in another thread. too bad that offer doesn't include S5 which goes on sale the same day as S6.
