Yeah I've had my gold since like 2013 or 2014. They're still in like new condition. I must have the best luck ever when it comes to Sony products, lol.

I have two pairs I rotate with. As long as people treat them as always "fragile" I don't see anyone having issue.

I had one crack down the headband & replaced it new. They do wear in over use which is unavoidable but as long as you take good care of them, they should last for years.
