I think October will be good because of the exclusive signed blu-ray, even though it'll probably be an unknown film, and the fact that it's Halloween month so more pressure. I have gotten 1 box from them and it was disappointing so I definitely don't want to commit to November. So I'll cancel once I see I was charged.

From what I heard, they're even reusing older picks in the new boxes, which is absolutely idiotic. Basically if you have been a long-time subscriber, there's a chance you might get duplicates. Ex: Scar 3D

I'm coming up on a year sub in november... some terrible months, some great months, I sell any dups/unwanted. might cancel since I have too many movies and not enough time.. we'll see how sept/oct is.

Yes, it was signed then wrapped.

The Blu-ray Limited Edition title this month has an extra bonus - we were able to get the Director of the film to sign every copy we sent out! He signed the cover wraps before they were sent to the pressing facility, so each discs is still packaged in brand new condition direct from the plant!

To me it just comes down to the exclusive. $21.99 for a new sub means that there's always going to be some bargain bin movies in the pack. I think every month I've already owned at least two of the movies and some I've owned all. I will only subscribe when an exclusive is offered. If I'm happy with the September exclusive then I'll put in for October. Anything has to be better than Badass Monster Killer and at least it will come signed this time.

Wait I thought you work for Horror Pack?

And I agree, anything is better than Badass Monster Killer maybe they'll exceed everyone's expectations and have a legit movie, but at the price I doubt it.

Work for them? Ha, nope. September was only my second month subscribing. It's too risky for me without some sort of exclusive offered.

I have no problem with them including a small indie film for the exclusive, but surely they can have one that is at least watchable. Badass Monster Killer was awful. Carl was the first DVD exclusive and holds an incredible 2.7 score at IMDB, so I want hold my breath. Guess I'll find out next week when my September pack arrives.

Even if the movie sucks, I hope the cover is at least good. BMK has a pretty decent cover, so at least then if you have no interest in the movie you can keep it sealed and can look at the nice signed cover

Mine also smelled funny as well. Wasn't hotdogs for me though. Mine actually smelled like weed, and it was all 4 movies in that bundle.

Man, Motivational Growth was just terrible. It seemed liked the type of oddball movie that I'd enjoy but I had to force myself to finish it.

Granted, it's a weird, off-kilter movie. But Jeffrey Combs' voice role is worth the price of admission alone.
