I feel like exotic drops were stealth nerfed since ROI. I've used about 50 3oC and gotten maybe 3 exotic engrams. Before ROI that drop rate was a lot higher.

Skeleton keys too! I've grinded the hell out of Heroic strikes the last two days and only had 2 keys drop.

Agreed. I have no life, so I've used hundreds of three of coins farming the Regicide mission. Since a recent update, the drop rate is much lower for exotics.

Farm Omnigul. I've gone from 350 to 360.9 in a few hours. She also drops ghosts. Your only issue in an artifact. Joe, Adam and I farmed CoO for an hour and I got a 361 artifact to replace a 351.

I hate the way they made the progression. I'd much rather play the game and progress instead of killing Omnigul and wiping for two hours. Oh well.

I swear with every major update/expansion they always need to change how we level up. I thought the leveling after the April update was the best and they should have just let it stay that way.

With this new way you kind of hit a wall after 365 since you can really only level up from exotic engrams, faction packages, skeleton keys and endgame content (Raid, IB, Trials). Legendary engrams become worthless after 365 since they max out at 365 decryption. And skeleton keys seem to be pretty rare at the moment.

I went back and ground out the last 1500 rep for Eris. Gave me a bond lol.

Up to almost 360. Just right below it. Not bad since I started off as 299. For all my history of bad RNG in this game I guess I should feel lucky that I am having more success with Three of Coins that other folks. I have yet to see another player get an Exotic. Have got 2 in the 8 or so attempt I have used so far. Small sample perhaps. Now I just jinxed myself. Got those Titan gauntlets with the big spikes. I love my Titan but the gear got way too bulky and crap looking. I actually enjoy how silly these things look though.

This has pretty much been my experience as well with RNG until I jumped back into the game about a month ago. While I've only gotten 1 exotic from strikes using 3oC (Cabal bros), I've gotten a pretty good drop-rate spamming the Taken event in the Divide, roughly 1 exotic for every 5 Taken runs. IIRC I spent about 30 3oC over the previous weekend and had 6 exotics to turn in for RoI. I've also had the VIP mission Priest in the Divide drop me a couple of exotics.

Finally beat the raid...stressful but rewarding...

If you're struggling with light, do heroics until you hit 365. Then pour materials and resources into factions and farm Three of Coins on the last Rise of Iron mission.

Just saw an SGA on Reddit. Instead of playing the daily heroic mission to earn your legendary marks, just use the director map and choose the hard mode of the same daily story. Instead of playing it at 350, you'll be playing it at 320. And the best part is, you'll still get your 15 legendary marks.

Need to take a night and do the Gjalahorn & Kvhostov quests.

Very, very nice rolls on that. But, the stability and mag size are less. Compromise you're willing to take?

Dont really notice the stability and you can gain a few extra rounds from triple tap. It hits pretty hard. I can swap full auto for the high mass rounds and triple tap to smallbore for pvp.

Once you get the mechanics down the last boss isnt too bad. The key is communication and whooping his butt with the scorch. Also helps being 370 lol

I ended up getting the Scout rifle twice and a butt towel to put me at 376 now

Been trying to grind in on the ranking up, and I'm still around 353 but I might try and farm exotics today so I can rank up, or Omnigul

Hey Casual, if you enjoy the Keystone, you should try to get a good Cocytus roll.
(If you don't have one yet) below is Cocytus I have with Triple Tap, Rifled Barrel, & Firefly. The green in the graph shows the upgrade you get in Range & Stability compared to the Keystone. I sharded all my Hung Jurys after I picked up a few of these Cocytuses. (Damn small picture!)

The thing about that is with the Hung Jury you must have more stability and more in the mag because it takes so many rounds to kill something/anything.
With a Keystone or Cocytus it takes one shot to kill enemies that require two with a Hung Jury, and stability doesn't really factor in as much with it's lower ROF giving you enough time to be precise anyway.

Ya I got a Keystone with firefly and outlaw but still go with my Hung Jury. Got that bad boy up to 369. Just got the raid scout so im give that a go.
