I was just playing around with it during the start of the Lon King 3D. And it seems to me the change to manual doesn't kick the automatic algorithm in, it just enhances or decreases the separation as such.
It scores the director intended separation at 10 ,giving you the option of more or less layer separation, and the screen placement at 0, so you can bring it forward or deeper. This is a really cool feature as I have more than a few movies that could use a little separation (Im looking at you, Gullivers Travels & I Robot in particular...) Anyway, thats my conclusions, anyone else beg to differ or agree? ps. I own the LG 8500 3d telly 2016 model...which im sure I already mentioned b4, sorry ![]() |
