Who wants to bet itll be a short montage of upcoming NX games and nothing about the system itself? Maybe show a not clear glimpse of it at the end.

Funny theyre going up against the RDR trailer. They have to be showing games.

Guess some people are tweeting itll actually just be the system and name and not actual games yet. Perhaps more Breath of the Wild.

I'm going to go on a limb here and say RDR2 is coming to NX, and they'll show a glimpse of it in the reveal of a game montage. Nonetheless, I don't think it's going up against RDR2. They might have not even known RDR2 existed a few days ago, and they were planning on revealing the NX this week regardless. At least now it's before the RDR2 trailer. Better than after.

Haha, sweet. You believe that a Nintendo console will get AAA-budget-3rd party support And even getting a Rockstar game.
They couldn't be bothered to even port the PS2 GTAs over to the Wii. There is no way they will support the NX, no sir.

According to this it was set for a reveal last month but Mario wasn't performing good enough. Good move I say. Although with less than 4 months to go before gold masters and it not running up to par as of last month this might be a sign that it might not be a launch title.

Excited for this. I really hope it is a handheld that can act as a home console. That idea is so awesome. The idea of basically merging development of console and handheld games into one sounds great. Since the rumors of this using carts came out I've hoped they let this play DS and 3DS titles...I know there is a 99.9% chance it won't...I can hope though.

**** 'em I say. Nintendo can get to critical mass on their own with the right games. I would be content with a Nintendo machine that gets 4-6 high quality Nintendo IP a year that sells through the roof.

Launch with Breath of the Wild, a new Mario that drops jaws and one other ip (Metroid?), have a great price and traditional controls and they'll be fine. Also, keep the ****ing thing in stock.

So far it's being specifically worded as their "next home gaming system."

Over $1 billion.

They need 3rd parties for this system to sell. If they want to make a dent in Europe, they need Fifa. If they want to make a dent in the US, they need Madden, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Assassins Creed, Destiny, Resident Evil, etc.

One thing I DON'T want the NX to have is the hundreds of absolute SHIT indie games that pollute the Playstation and Xbox stores! I hope Nintendo will exercise some discernment in terms of quality. Absolutely have the quality indie titles on their store but please weed out all of the crap!
