The landscape depicted is not reflective of "America's Heartland".

Huge get... Incoming PS4Pro LE bundle

I was wondering what happened to the GaF servers which were already stumbling between the Switch announcement and the trailer.

Sony announcing partnership must have been the final nail in the routers lol.

It looks AMAZING!!!!!!

Don't think I'm gonna be disappointed by this given their recent success with Read Dead Redemption, all the DLC and GTA V

The marketing department clearly talking crap and don't realise how games are made of course and trying to make a fancy press release

In addition, the PS3 classic Red Dead Redemption will be coming to PlayStation Now soon. Relive the epic story of former outlaw John Marston as he hunts down the gang members he once called friends through the harsh and punishing landscape of America’s dying West.
I look over at the X1, which has full backwards compatibility of Redemption and I think to myself, Sony GTFO with that PS Now horseshit!

We'll be paying extra for artisan DLC at this rate.

I would have preferred Sony get a PS4 remaster of RDR instead of being it to PS NOW. Oh will I bought the first for Xbox one when it was $10.00.

It's possible for that PS4 Pro bundle. Since Sony did do a bundle for PS4 version of GTA V when it released for PS4.

But on the other hand that blog post on Sony's official blog says this:

Quote:
We are pleased to announce that PS4 players get first access to earn select online content in the vast open world of Red Dead Redemption 2.

So it might just be first access to some RDR2 online DLC.

No, they need all their time for this and GTA6. Happy with a port, me, just to revisit.

I'm pretty sure Rockstar and big enough to do a remaster and do GTA 6 and finish this game. But yeah a port would have been fine if it was not only for PS NOW.

Damn right this will look great, GTA5 was limited by last gen. This will be absolutely stunning, built from the ground up on current hardware with 4K HDR to boot.

The new RDR2 trailer looks good with realistic scenery.

"Listen to me, when the time comes, you gotta run and don't look back... This is over."
Sounds like someone is telling their apprentice or kid a warning about the future. Maybe this is how John Marsten became the legend that he is, if it's a prequel. But it could be entirely new characters since that voice is unfamiliar and this is RDR 2, not RDR: (Subtitle here).

If anything, it'll show us the future potential.

IIRC, during the very initial leaks (like a while back), there was a character named "Red" or something like that who was a banker or financier and then another character as well which would explain/account for there being several silhouettes on the teaser poster in addition to (presumably) John Marston.

EDIT:

Lucky for us, redditor BlueSaber80 utilized the game's teaser poster to discover who will be starring in the anticipated Red Dead Redemption 2.

It turns out those silhouettes feature none other than main character John Marston and his former pals Dutch and Bill—who you must eliminate in order to be reunited with your family once again.

I figured we would be playing as dutchs gang.it would only make sense if this is a prequel to play as John in Dutchs gang it would be even better to be able to switch to other members like be able to play as Dutch or Bill.

Yeah, it's not my preferred method of delivery by a long shot but I'll take what I can get.
