So, I'm curious. What are 4K titles you'd really like, but you consider unlikely to ever hit the format? (So, not Star Wars, Pixar etc level films, even though Disney isn't playing ball yet).
For me: Meet Joe Black Anna and the King (1999. Never even came to regular Blu) Twister (this could perhaps I guess) The Quiet Man Pleasantville The Mask of Zorro North by Northwest On a side note, I would pay $50 for Lawrence of Arabia, which I do think could come out eventually. |

I'm probably alone in this but I'd like to see Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette.
I think the locations, costumes and color palette could look incredible in 4K/HDR. I wouldn't hold my breath though since I think it only recently became available on BR. |

Oh my, amazing suggestions of Pleasentville and What Dreams May Come.
My "maybe it could happen?" suggestion would be Drive. My "no chance fella" suggestion, Friday Night Lights. |

There are probably some Kinos and Criterions that would be nice to have on 4K but probably won't get releases. Oh well. |

I never saw Speed Racer but that movie has a visual style that's screaming for an HDR pass though. I agree about The Lovely Bones, I really enjoyed that movie.
My answer to this is a bit more broad, I'd like to see The Criterion collection start developing films for the format. It may happen down the road, but there's no sign of it in the near future. |
