Same guys making dumb penalties in Folwer Jr and Ramsey. Offense can't move the ball. This is the stuff that's been going on with this team for years. I feel that this offense this season reverted back to the offense 3-4 years ago. Just terrible and it's embarrassing that it's on national tv. I might have to call it a night because I feel that the team will just get worse as the night progresses.
That was not the type of game I expected at all... enjoyed it as a fan, of course, but that had to be an awful game for anyone else to watch. Thought it would be a 31-24 type game. The final score is not a good indicator of that game at all... and Bortles continues to pile on good numbers in garbage time. I have him in one FF league... he was awful tonight (and I think it's apparent he isn't a franchise QB now), but still got me 34 points. Lol

Let's see that Titans avatar now.

Bortles threw 60 something yards in the 1st half. Finished with 337 yards with 3 TD's all coming in garbage time. Can't blame all of the easy scores on the defense which looked like at one point they just quit. I blame the offense with their bad starts, which trickles down how the defense plays.

Per Khan...Bradley is not going anywhere.

With that said, it's going to be a long season the rest of the way. Jags have the 3rd toughest schedule in the league.

The positive is that we're only 2 games behind 1st place in the South, 2 losses behind to be exact.

Then what was the point of the owner calling a team meeting Monday? If his job is not in danger with the talented roster Jacksonville has then whats the point.

I don't know how much football knowledge Kahn has, but maybe he's letting this season play out until the last game of the season. By then, there should be some available head coaches to choose from.

Titans is the most hated team for me.

So this morning so far 6 of my coworkers drops by my desk to chat how bad this team is, and how ugly their mustard uniforms are.

Might be time for the Jaguars to cut the mustard!

Blake Bortles is the king of garbage time. If you just look at his stats from last night, 337 yards passing, 3 touchdowns, and no picks, you'd think he had a good game. In fantasy he'll probably end up as a top 3 quarterback for the week.

I've won several league championships on garbage stats. Zero complaints from me!

60 something yards passing in the 1st half, and I think fewer yards last week in the 1st half vs. Oakland for Bortles.

It's really sad about him having a pretty good game fantasy wise, and that's also another reason why I'm taking the year off playing. I rather have my football team win, instead of worrying about player stats.

Last year I won my league with Bortles starting for my team in the finals. I had Brady but played Bortles in the finals because he had a great matchup against the Saints, and he came through with a touchdown and 2 point conversion in the final 2 minutes when the Jags were down 19. Bortles ended up having 4 touchdown passes in that game, and they were down 24 by the time he had his first.

Bortles actually had a very good season last year, again from a FF persecptive.
I watched the first half of that game last night and he just did not look good at all. Even Simms was commenting on his mechanics and how some throws were very far off target.
The good news is there's enough young talent, time and a pretty weak division to right the ship this season.
This might not be a factor at all, but I often wonder if playing in London every season has some sort of effect on the team? That's one less home game each season.

I don't think London has to do with anything about how the Jags are playing. They won their last two games in London and head into their bye week.

One of the biggest reasons they were one of the first teams in the league to have a home game in London is because tickets sales were bad in Jacksonville. You can say the economy, the team wasn't great since the 90's or whatever. Ticket sales were low, home game blackouts, and the rumors of the Jaguars moving to a different city.

As for Bortles, his passing mechanics look worse if you compare it during his rookie year. 3 years later, his throws are kind of wobbly still even throwing the deep ball which I don't think Bortles has thrown one over 30 yards yet which is hard to believe.

They say he's more comfortable with the no huddle, and doing bootlegs which is true, but obviously you can't do that all game long. It's year 3 for Bortles and there should be no excuses. I like Bortles when he was drafted, but I was never committed to him 100% as a fan like I did with a Jones-Drew or a Jimmy Smith. I want to commit 100% to Allen Robinson, but he's been dropping a lot of passes this year.

Is there even any good QB's in college that will be going into the draft?

Maybe it's time to move on from Blake? Romo to the Jags?

^ Ouch, reading all the broken down quarter stats. Of course fantasy owners don't care about the Jags winning, all they care is about his production.

Smh, only 4 TD passes in the 1st quarter in his 3 years in the league.

Next QB we draft, I hope their first name doesn't begin with the letter "B".

1. Byron Leftwich
2. Blaine Gabbert
3. Blake Bortles

That's where some of the best quarterbacks were drafted

Lol! Didn't know they all started with a "B".
Maybe you can work a trade out with Philly involving Telvin Smith. Lordy that guy is a beast!
