That's pretty bizarre that Angry Red Planet and Screaming Skull won that poll over the GOOD movies from that time period, as neither of them exactly had much name recognition, apart from the latter being on MST3K. Here's hoping they get around to I Bury the Living and Man from Planet X. I guess I'll have to buy those bad two to encourage more B&W movies!

The one I REALLY wanted was Invasion of the Bee Girls. I'm surprised the B&W ones won out over that, too, considering the crazy title and all the babes.

What's the Matter with Helen and The Vagrant make more sense.

This probably means a new deal with Universal, so Child's Play 2 and 3 CE's are surely coming.

IIRC, the poll never actually ruled out the possibility of non-winning titles being released to Blu-Ray.

It could just means some may be released SOONER than others. I feel like that entire list will be released over time, even if thrown on some double feature discs eventually.

I'm still hoping for THE VAMPIRE. Like that film a lot.

It would be great if Scream upgraded most of the MGM titles, be they re-releases of Midnite Movies or titles first released by Shout. Can't forget The Evictors also. That cover art alone warrants a single release (though a double feature would be perfectly fine if the only feasible option).

I sure wish Scream Factory could have done the original Psycho aswell. Now if they can somehow get their hands on the old school Bates Motel movie that came out in the 80s it would really complete the collection even tho its a terrible film.

Definitely odd those two won over others, I was hoping Arena would finally be making an appearance. It may be a case of those films are easier to put out at the moment and were near the top of the voting list instead of the actual top.

None are really must haves to me. Probably will go for Psycho, Angry Red Planet and Screaming Skulls whenever the price gets low enough. Deadtime Stories actually looks right up my alley so I might blind buy that sooner than anything else. It's been awhile since I've seen Tales from the Hood, I don't remember liking it all that much back in the day but it does seem quite requested so who knows...

While I'm not really a fan of the film, I'll probably buy Psycho (1998) just to have all 4 theatrical films on blu-ray through Scream. This is a total completist purchase and I'll probably regret it down the road. And, if it was another company besides Scream releasing it, I'd probably pass, but it'll have enough shelf appeal to make it worth it...sorta. sigh.

Still no Slither. I've been waiting for that one from Scream for a long time.

I also wonder at what point does Universal just bite the bullet and let Scream re-release the original Psycho?

May as well milk it for all it's worth. It's diminishing returns on physical media from this point out. They've already released it on Blu as a 50th anniversary, then re-released it with slightly different packaging and a digital copy, a steelbook, and now a "pop art" release with a new cover.

I could see them allowing Scream to release it, riding that for about a year, and then re-releasing it again in 4k or something. In fact, I'm going to guess that it will eventually go down this way.

Either Scream are being crafty again or a CE of Dracula (1979) looks unlikely at this point:

To be clear, they said a while back that they would only consider upgrading if they could offer the original colour timing. Of course, things change, but I think Scream will be pretty adamant on this.

In for Virus (I liked the comic, and the movie is a nice dumb diversion), Firestarter, and maybe Vagrant and Tales from the Hood.

So all that's left from All Night Horror is Contamination .7. I think it may be safe to say that they'll throw that on something one of these days.

I hope they found the film elements, they were supposedly lost and the only thing they had was the HD master that airs on TV and available for download from itunes.

So what did people think of FENDER BENDER? Debating picking it up to pad an order for free shipping. I heard some positive things about it here and there.

I enjoyed it. It's not perfect but a fun throwback to 80's slashers. If slashers are not your thing then it may not be worth it for you. For me $15 was the perfect price for this.

I'm def. into the genre. I worry with contemporary homages sometimes because they sometimes feel a little too tongue in cheek for me.

It does come with a poster that I can sell off, at least.
