Okay. I watched this the other night and I have to agree. The whole start of the Directors Cut has been changed to a series of flash backs until he walks into Knight's Field and I noticed all the dialogue changes, especially the removal of Whammer's "Rumpot" snap.

I honestly don't think the added scenes and changes really added anything to the movie. If anything it detracted from it and felt it a little disjointed in places.

It does help to clear up one thing from the theatrical version though and that is Max Mercy's attempt to prove "Wonderboy" is an illegal bat with the added scene of him using a bat to hit a ball in the vice which then moves into the scene from the original release with the voice over

"In response to Max Mercy's accusation that Wonderboy was a loaded bat, Commissioner Gates made a statement.

"We measured and weighed the bat and it is within League specifications. Therefore, the bat is legal and may be used in League play."
