By releasing him they would save somewhere in the ballpark of 4-5mil.

glad we're a young team. MNF in Mexico City will be played at an elevation of 7,400 feet. 2,000 higher than Denver!!

The Raiders’ game Monday night against Houston is officially a home game. But the players are taking some unusual steps in preparing for it, like wearing elevation masks while working out to simulate low oxygen levels and improve cardiorespiratory fitness.

And the team is also bringing its meals and water

Playoff wins that matter? 0. Because our expectation is championships. The Jets are considered successful if they get through the week without stinking up the joint. They failed last week.

Best young group of talent on offense in the whole league. We're set for years to come. Improve the defense just a little and we're perennial contenders.

Best season since the 90s?? Guess you overlooked 2014 season with a 12-4 regular season record? 467 PF, 6138 total yards, Romo thowing 34 TDs, Murray running 1,845 yds???

Didn't end with a Super Bowl.

No season since 1995 has ended in a Super Bowl win though. So you gauge how good the season is only if it ends in a Super Bowl victory? Huh, guess I'm not a true Dallas fan then. [emoji52]

Nothing will beat that till maybe cowboys/steelers wk 10.
Just to put a bow on this....

cowboys/steelers did become most watched game of yr so far 28.9 million
that beat the 28.0 cowboys/packers which had beat 27.5 giants/cowboys

I see a commonality in all those 3 games.

It was a good regular season, but that's about it.

Uhm ya I'm aware of that but you stated that this season is the best since the 90s which is the statement that I was referring to. [emoji52]

Don't worry, your Raiders are playing my Texans and it is a primetime game so that automatically means my team will play terrible.

A lot of people like to watch them lose.

I don't know the numbers but Gates has to be close. Not sure how many seasons he has left in the tank though!
Gates is 2 touchdowns away from tying Gonzalez and 3 touchdowns from passing him so he's got a very good chance at passing Gonzalez this season.

I knew he was close, but didn't know he was that close. I like both players, but also like seeing records broken. So here's to hoping Gates can do it in the next 6 games.
