There's nothing deep about TDK. If you think a couple of endless, corny monologues towards the end about 'justice' and 'chance'--which have been reiterated countless times by many folks before TDK (if you people have the memory) makes a deep movie, then I don't know what to say.
Visual story-telling is about being subtle--not repeatedly banging people on the head with monologues like we are a bunch of idiots who can't figure it out for ourselves. |
