Can you check? Plus he complained to LG service asking how could they have released a tv with a 10bit hdmi not compatible with HDCD 2.2 and they told him that maybe they would release a hardware upgrade like samsung did to play HDR, but in this case just to make HDMI imput 3, HDCP 2.2 compatible. I have the same tv but not 4k player yet to test.

Are you sure that when the 4k samsung player is connected to hdmi 3 outputs 2160p ???
I know this is a old post but, I have head this from a few places now and wanted to know if any new news here.

I have a 65UB9500... I am hearing they might make a hardware upgrade to support HDR. Even from LG from 2 reps I heard "MIGHT"

Do you know what Samsung set they upgraded HARDWARE to give HDR ?

I will call again but, I want some ammo here saying that Samsung offered a Hardware upgrade for it
