$80 would be great, but you guys forgot tax. In Manitoba after tax, it's $95. Yeah, I'd say that extra $15 goes a long way lol. I got the collector's edition and am enjoying the game, but if you weren't a fan of ICO (more so) or Shadow of the Colossus, wait for a sale. For those of us who are, we just really want to experience the third story after all this waiting.

While I'm still in the middle of FFXV, I agree that as a fan of Ico and Colossus, this sounds like a great follow up. Looking forward to it.

How big is the castle so far? About the same as Ico?

I want to highly praise the game so much but it falls short with some flaws I've encountered. More so when the camera goes through the characters and walls, that really bothers me for some reason. That alone is a big flaw for me.

Other than that its still a wonderful game with some really great puzzles.

I think the area is much larger than the castle from ICO, but I haven't played that in a couple of years. The camera can be annoying in some instances, but I've played other games that also had its fair share of camera problems, so I won't hold it against this game that much lol. There's one part late in the game where you need to feed Trico 4 barrels, and it was really hard and annoying to place them near him properly so that he could eat them.

Anyways, I just finished my playthrough. Probably took me around 10 hours. ICO was not the most fun game in the world, but many saw it as a masterpiece. Shadow of the Colossus had a huge fun factor and was again labeled as a masterpiece. The Last Guardian though? Kinda like ICO, there are a few areas that weren't a lot of fun for me; however, this game is yet another MASTERPIECE! The final few sections in the game were just amazing. Make sure to watch the credits all the way to the end.

For anyone who finished:

Was there a patch for this game that fixed some of those apparent falling through floors and camera going through walls problem?

I ask because I got this on day one but wasn't able to install and play until a few days after. I have yet to face any of those problems.

Only criticism I feel is accurate at this point is that yes, the camera can be fairly annoying at times.

Colossus' camera was part of the game in itself, as during boss battles, wrangling the camera so you could see what you were doing (especially while on the horse) was half the battle. Even with that though, the experience of the game won over and it's one of the classic games to remember. Especially the grip meter when climbing. Something Zelda Breathe of the Wild is clearly inspired by.

For this game, if the camera is the biggest concern, it sounds like a solid game.

Preorderd this but got sidetracked with Read Dead Redemption. Force camera does kind of annoy me in games cause I like to look around and get a good view of surroundings. Hopefully doesn't completely ruin my gameplay.

On the bright side you can hold L1 to lock onto Trico.

I started my play through today, couple hours in and enjoying the game immensely. My wife loves Trico and has been watching me play. Glad I got the Collectors Edition.

I've been playing video games for over 25 years and I've NEVER been this frustrated with a video game and it's controls. SOTC is amazing in comparison to this. It is single handledly ruining the experience for me and I can't wait to finish this game so I never have to play it again. What a shame

I hope they patch the game to remove the (to the point of being downright obnoxious) controller prompts. I get that they have to show you the controls, but at least let there be an option to turn that off. It's completely immersion-breaking. It's a beautiful world they've created. There's no HUD, no health meters, but then you have this out-of-place PlayStation controller popping up on screen constantly.

Although the second comment was worth the click in the end.

Hey everyone, it's me, CompleteRipOff99, and today is a day that I never thought I'd see, because after years of waiting, and delays, and trailers and E3 demos, the new GamerGod88 video is finally here. But the question on everyone's mind is, "Does it live up to the hype?" Well, that's what I hope to find out today! So let's fire it up and see how it is!

So I can't seem to get past the host's forehead, but I'm just happy the video's out. I give it four out of three.

The more/longer I play this game, the more frustrated I get with it. The camera, the wall breaks, the controls of the boy not going in the direction you want him to... it's very frustrating.

Trying to have Trico slingshot me up to the ceiling above, and then trying again to slingshot a stone head up there as well was extremely frustrating as Trico kept hitting the wagon with his nose first before whacking me or the object up there. (And what are those green globs? Couldn't get them onto the wagon at all, gave up trying to get those sling-shotted up through the ceiling.)

I love the game, but can only play it in small doses. A few puzzles a night. Not sure how anybody can get that 5 hr speed run trophy with control frustrations like these unless there's some hack at the end I don't know about yet...

Exactly how I feel. There are a few instances where I wanted to throw the controller at my screen. I've played in a few doses about 1 or 2 hours and it's better like that for me. I'm almost at the end though ( I think )

Just wait until you get to the part with the tree (you'll know it when you get there).
[Show spoiler]Spent about an hour exploring the environment before finally reading a walkthrough in order to discover that I needed to go to an area that the camera would not show me at all that I had to get to in order to progress to the next area.
