To answer your question again: I'm not 100% sure, but I've never noticed a body double, and I can't imagine them using that kind of sophisticated body double CGI for a movie like this - it seems really unlikely to me.

So I picked up Blue Crush and scanned and not getting IW. I'll keep trying and see what happens in the coming week. Odd cause I figured it would have by now.

I'm not sure if it was posted here or in the Instawatch section, but multiple people have said Blue Crush doesn't include Instawatch. As much as we'd all like to receive it, not all bin movies are available for Instawatch.

The one good thing about IW (or bad thing, depending on your perspective) is that you can re-enter the receipts later on and sometimes get IW even if it didn't work originally. I did that for some horror movie DVDs, of all things. (Granted, the IW was in SD, but still.)

Random question, I picked up a Blu at Wal Mart a few months ago that didn't have IW and haven't opened it yet. I see now they are selling it with IW, is it possible to return the old copy with the new receipt? I haven't decided yet if this is shady.

Try scanning the old receipt first and see if you get IW.

If you purchase a new movie and scan it to Instawatch and it works, then you return the movie, the Instawatch will be taken away. If you do that same process, but instead attempt to return the older movie, which would be possible if the barcode is the same, the Instawatch would still be taken away. Your best option is to go to the store, take a photo of the front and back of the new Blu-ray that proves it's Instawatch eligible, and open a claim with VUDU, and say you never received Instawatch with your previous purchase. That technique has worked for me in the past.

I think the IW copies have a additional barcode... so the first barcode matches, not sure if the second will cause an issue, I assume the second is for IW.

Just prepare to wait at least a month, if not longer, for VUDU to actually get back to you.

Sometimes. The longest I had to wait was a couple of weeks, and that only happened once. All the other times, my issue was resolved in a few days.

I purchased "We're back " last year in November and until today I had regret it because initially it wasn't part of the Instawatch eligible movies until few months after it made it to the bin, so I was about to try re-entering the receipt but don't have it but the good thing is that thru the app it saved the receipt and to my surprised it alerted me of a digital movie thru Instawatch they hadn't redeemed yet I wish they would alerted me before , but good thing is now I have redeemed it 1 year later

So anyone with any titles that didn't get Instawatch, check previous receipts thru the app

I was going to pull the receipt image to get the info to re-enter but instead as I scrolled down to the item it said Instawatch next to the title and pop up came up

Wish I still had my receipt for We're Back!. I bought that before I started the instawatch program.

Did anybody ever get Instawatch for Mary Shelly's Frankenstein? I bought that earlier this year, didn't receive Instawatch, but a month later I saw copies of it in a cart and they all had the Instawatch stickers on them. I just tried the receipt again- and still nothing.

Went to WM today and the bin is overflowing. Didn't see anything new new but still nice to see that there are a lot of titles to pick. Also Blue Crush is still now giving IW. Looks like it is one of the ones that do not.

It's sad to see nothing new in December so far, but I guess it's expected as the bin is not a big money-maker for them over the holidays.
