$29million for Thursday previews puts it above Age of Ultron with $27.6 million and well above Jurassic World with $18million in previews. Extrapolating that to the whole weekend is of course not an exact science, but it makes a $150 million plus weekend for R1 a near certainty, although $200 million might be a stretch (Age of Ultron didn't quite make it).

There is no way this will make it to $200M.

Yeah, last year we went in short sleeves, didn't even bring a coat. Thursday night was cold, today we've got 73 degrees, thunderstorms and a tornado watch. And tomorrow night... 15, with a windchill in the negatives.

Anyhow, $71 million Friday. Even if it gets hampered by weather and frontloading, still on track for the second biggest December opening ever, by far.

It was 60 degrees on thursday here and it might barely get past 0 today. Got a lot of snow too last night.

Miss Sloane fell 80%

Apparently the false advertising for Collateral Beauty didn't bother audiences. It got an A- cinemascore

Great weekend numbers, and Disney usually underestimates. Should be $3 to $5 million higher when the actual totals come out Tuesday. Solid start.

I know to make room for the WARS, Sloane fell to ONE showing a day here, at 9am. Sucks, as it was one of the better films I've seen in awhile.

I thought it looked like a cute, tearjerker....then I read a review that said the entire trailer is a lie. Crazy they would market it that way.

All it took was a “Star Wars” spinoff, a trio of animated smashes, and a pair of Marvel films.
