See?! This is why this is such an excellent film! )

And to be honest, I don't know the answer. I think part of the excellence in the writing is that we need to make our own decisions (like it says in Foggy's video).

I've seen this movie a number of times, and I'm still going back and forth now concerning what Ava is. I really need to watch it again tonight. But I wonder ... oh, I just need to see it again.

Did Ava have a crisis of conscience in the end, turn around then head back to Caleb and free him? Is Caleb a robot too? That ending is too specific imo to be left up for interpretation. Ava looks like she suddenly has some purpose, and I've watched the movie several times but can't pick up on any clues as to what the motivation could be, other than Caleb.
