Just saw Criterion's New Year picture. Could it be?! Are we finally getting Ghost World?!

I just might cry.

I wish there was a clue for Gummo in there. Maybe Criterion can go back in and draw a piece of bacon taped to the wall.

They will never do better than the tray of Life. So I guess we might not have a drawing for TToL.

EDIT: Ghost World! Yes!

EDIT: The grave is clearly alluding to something happening at night involving "They".

EDIT: Is that Caesar hailing?

EDIT: There are sixteen candles on the ground. Coincidence?
It definitely looks like Caesar Hailing to me.

I hope it isn't true. It would be stupid if they released it.

Surprised they didn't get their hands on The Breakfast Club first though.

how can someone have a problem with the john hughes movies being released on criterion!!! just watched most of them over the holiday break and boy do they all hold up well.

except pretty in pink. the character of ducky has always really bothered me. what a creep.

at least these in theory will be big sellers to allow weirder titles to be released. plus you never know...someone like my wife could be out shopping and notice sixteen candles (her favorite movie) on criterion and that could be a long term new customer.

I googled "The S Bride" movie for the hell of it and it linked me to "Zandy's Bride."

I highly, highly, highly doubt its this. However, the film is a Warner Bros. and Jan Troell film and both have proven to find their way into the Collection.

They're pans. The D pan is missing, hence "Dheepan".

Doesn't it look like he has a fanny pack on or something modern at his waistline? Plus it looks like he's hailing. I think if it were just the '53 film, they wouldn't have it drawn like that.
