Hey gang, I'm curious if everyone is going to dump COD4 now that COD5 is out. I wanted to play COD4 last night but it was taking a while to get the LOBBY full. Has everyone jumped ship on COD4?

I hope not, I still need to rank all the way up...I don't know - its an obsessive thing...kind of like I had to get a 1-1 kill ratio.

I already sold my copy of 4. I was tired of it. Plus I have alot of work to do in 5.

I love both of them. I finished World at War and been playing alot on line, but I always find myself going back to COD4. Its a good balance for me

Aren't the options "No" and "Sticking to COD4 for now" the exact same thing?

+1 I don't feel like getting back into a ww2 game, i've played too many and I got spoiled with moder warfare. I'm just going to wait it out until the infinity ward cod comes out ( hopefully its modern warfare again

Happy to see early indications are that people "are" going to keep playing COD4.

i was also curious about whether people will stop playing COD 4.... I have not played COD 5, but cant see how it can be better... COD 4 is one of the best games ive ever played online.... anyone have any insight on COD 5 and what the differences are, weapons, etc?

+1, I will say this they are both unique games and they both deserve to be played that way. Oh, and yes they are both great. COD5 feels vintage best way I can describe it. No vibrant colors like 4 and the graphics while solid are a bit dull. Control is almost exactly the same. Calling in the dogs instead of a helicopter is cool becaue if you follow the dogs I find enemies will zero in on them and never look for you which gives you the edge. More assist points is also a definite plus. Tank driving is also fun but players love to zero in and blow em up, so use them in a limited capacity.

I voted 'Yes' i will stop playing COD4......they are essentially the same game (on the same engine) It looks same as 4 except there is new (old) uniforms and the guns are obviously different. Really the game play and look is all the same. They defiantly added some small new features but not really enough to make a huge difference. Yes the tanking, planes, dogs and other little add ons are cool but IMO not enough to make a hug difference

Comes down to the basic question......Do you like 'modern warfare' or 'WW2' war ? I personally like WW2.....MOH was the only other WW2 game I played so, I have been overwhelmed with WW2 shooters. If you like the 'modern' warfare then save $60 and hold off.

This is weird... I got my copy of CoD5 last tuesday, I will be ready to play it tomorrow (saturday). But regarding the question, I still play all of CoDs, from 1 to 4 and now 5. I like them a lot! I know there is a big diference among them (1 & 2 for ps2 and 3,4 and 5 for ps3). I haven't play any online yet, I am planning to buy the ps3 headset this weekend.

I agree on the Dogs point.. love to follow and shoot up the guys while they wrestle with the canines... good stuff..

also.. if you play your cards correct the tanks are the same way..

get your team to follow the tanks from a ways back as it will draw out the enemy and they will often be focused 100% on the vehicle. snipe away!!
