The only thing I would change is giving a division winner an automatic #3 or #4 seed. Division winners get in the playoffs, yes...but then the top 6 records establish the seeding order.

Out of the available coaches out there. I'd take Mike Smith.

Mike Smith was our DC back in 07-08 last time we made the playoffs. We want an offensive minded coach this time, but I don't think any of the available ones out there would fit for our team, but Smith would work out for us I think.

I'm sure the Falcons fans in here would tell you that's not the greatest idea. He had his moments, but I specifically remember several occasions where his clock management was beyond horrific. And I haven't seen THAT many of their games. I'm sure it was common.

Exactly, the guy is terrible. Not to mention, to me, he seems like one of those nice guy coaches and we know how that usually pans out.

Garrett used to have those issues as well and missing the play-offs 5 times in 6 seasons, not to mention 4-12 last year, meant I wanted him gone. Still takes more to get the sting out, such as at least winning this weekend against the other best team in the NFC.

I doubt they will lose to the one-dimensional Falcons but that's why they play the games. They still have to get past the Packers but at least they won't have to travel if they do.

I think one of the big reasons why Smith could be headed back to Jax is because of Dave Caldwell when they used to be in Atlanta.

I don't know. I just don't think a McDaniels, or a Shanahan would fit for the team as I see those coaches as short term for the franchise. That's my opinion.
