I also didn't try for low price/$0 orders, I only bought what I wanted to watch (I was placing an order anyway)...believe me, I have the attention span of a squirrel sometimes, and don't need any more shiny "nuts" around here that I'll never get around to. I have a shameful backlog of BDs to watch already.

Huh. One title in my 3/$30 is shipping out for Monday yesterday. Now today, the other two titles have changed to shipping as well. I am to expect two packages, aren't I? One with a single movie, and another with two.

That's weird because I've received a few so far (I was late to the party) and they were all one blu-ray to a box that could probably fit about 4, full of packing paper - like, just immaculately taken care of free blu-rays, I don't know what they're thinking.

So just had my original four orders split into six... earliest estimated shipping date was February 20, but I just received emails that 6 movies (three partial orders combined into one shipment) are on their way

I ordered so late, once everything was backordered for 1-2 months, that I didn't expect to actually end up getting any of these. Nice surprise

Just got shipping notifications on a couple of orders that were marked as 1-2 months. One is an order of 3/30, the other is 3 titles from a 9 order of 2/25, so they're definitely fulfilling all that backordered stuff.

And people were worried everything that was back ordered was going to get cancelled. So far, lots of stuff shipping, nothing cancelled by Amazon.

Props to them for honoring their F-up. Maybe they just canned the person in charge for incompetence and took a month's salary for that position as a loss. More likely they are just following in the footsteps of the great and powerful Drumpf and using a negative in the .ca to make a positive write-up for .com and not pay any US taxes for 18 years!

Well, got half of my movies in today... and my copy of Aeon Flux is absolutely trashed

Cracked case that won't even close, holes through the insert and scratches on the disc. Don't think I've ever had something arrive in this condition before.

Funny thing is, the shrinkwrap on the case looked to be newly applied, so someone literally took this case (probably with bits of plastic falling off as they were handling it) and shrinkwrapped it up to be sold as new

I feel kind of weird requesting a replacement for a free movie but hot damn! If I knew it would be in this bad a shape I probably would have picked a different movie

I went to a used music and movie shop today, that keeps all the new stuff in on the front shelf, and I swear all the new "used" blu-rays they had today were ones from this sale. I actually chuckled out loud when I saw them.

I ended up getting doubles of stuff I already had, just because they brought my total down to $0.00, and I was going to try to get a couple bucks each for them, but I might just give them away at the office instead.
