Your original comment was directed at the Conference Championship game of Ryan vs Rodgers.

Getting to the playoffs is entirely different than what you do in the playoffs and its consideration for MVP.

I understand the entire process.
My point is, if the vote is tallied why not release before the playoffs begin?
Then have a Championship game MVP?
So there is nothing to account for the entire playoffs? Or is that included in Championship MVP?

I'm pretty sure all those years and the super secretive AP voting club had a few guys phone in a vote change based on a playoff performance.

The last MVP to win the Super Bowl is Kurt Warner in 99 so the odds are not good for Matt Ryan or Tom Brady.

That works since 2010, but the 39 years prior it was held after the Championship game.

Yeah I'm not entirely sold on the North Dakota State product either but Philly invested too much in him to push him aside for a bum like Smith.

Went 7-9 with, arguably, one of the worst supporting casts in the league...in one of the best divisions, playing the hardest schedule!

The more things change the more they stay the same. Of the starting QB's in the conference title games 3 of 4 have won a Super Bowl with 7 Super Bowl wins between them.

How he do that when RG3 had more pass completions and won the division as a rookie. Went to the pro bowl and won rookie of the year. And we all know how that turned out
