This thread is an absolute joke,... people rating each other's movie collection? That's a 100% subjective topic and should not be " graded " by anyone. Just leaves the door wide open for members to cast unfair criticism of other's movie/music library, creating hostile debates sincerely bereft of any constructive criticism.

Respect everyone's collection because it's no better than your own. I give all members a 10/10 as it's their freedom to choose whatever they want to watch or listen to.

Like I have said many times on this thread.... People just need to rate others collection based on exactly what they have, not what the person is missing or comparing your own collection to there's... "Example: which happens a lot".... well lets see... I give you a 5/10 because you have great titles but are missing Criterion films from the 1930s-1960s.. This one Kills me everytime and this is just 1 example of many

I enjoy this thread and like to rate others collection. I see nothing wrong with this thread, but I think the whole rating thing should be thought out that way in my opinion or maybe I am just crazy

Wow, this might be one of my FAVORITE collections to rate. You have AMAZING categories, AMAZING title selections, and you even have AXE, which my dad starred in. Add GREASE and FLASH GORDON and you are a collector after my own heart.

. . . . . Well, right out of the gate, it's a shame that there's no organization. I gotta admit that I like sorting through the genres that people are into - that's most of the fun of doing these. As far as pure content, it's not a bad collection, but there's just not a lot of overlap between our two tastes. I'd probably wind up flipping most of that on ebay if I wound up with your discs somehow. So from that point of view, if five is average, I'd probably go somewhere in the 3 - 4 range.

The important thing to remember is that it's just an opinion of a random person on the internet that you will never meet and has no bearing on you. A poor rating, a great rating is ultimately meaningless if you enjoy what you have.

I have a lot of horror and kung fu and random eighties shit and nonsense. I realize that not everyone will dig this and I'm okay with it. If you cant stand Slasher and Ninja flicks, go ahead and give me 2 out of 10. I have no issue with this.

Your collection is not devalued just because I don't like your movies and you don't like my movies. Your collection is not evolved to the next level if I love yours and you love mine. Buy what you like, watch what you like and the rest of the world be damned.

(Oh, and I suppose I now owe 145gtw a rate because I'm chattering away off topic. Your Arrow collection is a sight to behold! Glorious! Beyond that, we have plenty of overlap - 9 out of 10, baby!)
