lol I haven't heard of the mood elevator before. really does look beautiful. You must love Barnes & Noble because I think they have a pretty good British TV section. It's certainly better than anything you would find at Best Buy, Target, Walmart etc.

The main wholesale chain I usually hit up each week for used dvds just randomly stopped selling them out of nowhere. At times they'd have several thousand to choose from for a fixed price of $2 and now I'm only down to one store to regularly look for used dvds and blus... but it's at a bookstore that uses web algorithms to price and so it's hard to find good deals there. Pretty sad but inevitable.

Oh of course that makes sense. Of course with B&N, it would be cool just to see them in store on the shelves. I'm sorry if I have asked you already. I know we talked about WWII and then The Troubles in Ireland. Did I ask you if you liked Death At A Funeral or Wild Target? I know they're not crime stories but I guess you could count Wild Target as a crime-comedy story

Ohhh, didn't realize the bottom one was Anne Frank. I'm not sure Ben Kingsley's age...is that the 1959 film? I think that was the year but no it can't be. No ok you probably laugh at that question. The artwork makes me think 70s at least.

I've not heard of either of those, however I did read some of the reviews and they do not look like 'my cup of tea'.

Some of the ones of comedy/crime drama series I do enjoy are Rosemary and Thyme, Midsomer Murders, Hustle, New Tricks...etc.

Anne Frank: The Whole Story

Anne Frank: The Whole Story is a two-part mini-series based on the book Anne Frank: The Biography by Melissa Müller. The mini-series aired on ABC on May 20 and 21, 2001. The series starred Ben Kingsley, Brenda Blethyn, Hannah Taylor-Gordon, and Lili Taylor. Controversially, but in keeping with the claim made by Melissa Müller, the series asserts that the anonymous betrayer of the Frank family was the office cleaner, when in fact the betrayer's identity has never been established. A disagreement between the producers of the mini-series and the Anne Frank Foundation about validity of this and other details led to the withdrawal of their endorsement of the dramatization, which prevented the use of any quotations from the writings of Anne Frank appearing within the production. Hannah Taylor-Gordon received both Golden Globe and Emmy Award nominations for her performance as Anne Frank, while Ben Kingsley won a Screen Actors Guild Award for his performance as Otto Frank, Anne's father. It is revealed in the miniseries that the cleaning lady of Opekta betrayed Anne and her family.

Thanks for the synopsis on Anne Frank. There was a short article on MSN about her not too long ago. I guess they found a necklace or something like one that she wore. I guess they found it at a camp. I'm not sure if you saw that or not. And what was the film you were waiting for your library to get? Was it Sophie Scholl?

Update: I went ahead and put Death At A Funeral & Wild Target on hold from our library tonight. I'll see if they are 'my cup of tea' after all.
