Thanks, ya a lot of the ones on sale right now, the those X Men 4K movies have Movie Money but dont say how much which is confusing.

So it's like a gift card for a certain amount and such.

My order just shot up to $17.80 (for 2 movies) since I only have 2 movies instead of 3 in the cart to trigger the double discount and waiting for Trading Places to ship. I already received one of the 3 movies so maybe I should just cancel Trading places to cancel my entire order?

What governing body can I approach if Amazon doesn't respect the initial invoice for the 25 off movie orders?

Chinatown can be found at HMV (now 2/$12 was 2/$15). Not exactly the Amazon deal, but not too bad if one really wants it.

All my remaining items were canceled by Amazon. I managed to get only 1 @ $.0, my total for 12 items was just under $30....certainly not going to complain.

Just chat with an Amazon CSR and they will fix the total. I've had to do it twice already.

They said they would refund me the over-charged amount once the item ships out, and that I would get a call back when it happens. I already know that Trading Places and Breakfast at Tiffany's won't ever ship, as they're discontinued.

However, Amazon Chat was severely unhelpful to me, and I did have to call them.

Same thing happened to me. I was going to cancel 2 more to "fix" the deal as I really don't care enough to call them, but then they cancelled 2 more so I didn't have to do anything! Price went back down to what it was. I'm just getting less "free" movies.

They told me that for one order as well. I simply asked to speak to someone higher up because I didn't want to have to chat with them again in a month. It got fixed right away. Be persistent.

Universal's Dracula and The Mummy Legacy Collection sets pre-order up on Amazon.ca for $32.98 each, $7 less than the current .com price. Once I get these though, I'll end up with four copies of Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein, which like the earlier Frankenstein and The Wolf Man sets is also included in the Dracula set (plus the original release I had purchased before the sets). Abbott & Costello Meet The Mummy is (you guessed it) on The Mummy set...

First I heard of these was when noticing via this site that the pre-orders were up on Amazon.com, then checking Amazon.ca to see if there were up there also. Had not seen any news item about these releases personally on this site. We all figured it was a matter of time after the release of the first two, but seeing official release dates at a decent price was a nice surprise.

In my haste to place orders once Slickdeals got ahead of the Glitch Sale, I accidentally ordered an extra copy of Witness. It's still sealed - anyone (in the US) want to trade for Chinatown, Marathon Man, or We Were Soliders? Let me know!

Well the only one I truly missed out on was Virtuosity because I stupidly thought I already had it. Tough to remember exactly which DVD's have been upgraded when you've got about 400 of them left out of 1500. Did the opposite with The Order thinking I didn't have it and got the 2-pack with From Hell which I know I already have. Turns out I had them both! D'oh!.

So if anyone's got an extra Virtuosity kicking around and needs Death Wish, Rocky Horror, Witness... geez I've got a bunch of duplicates still. Well, I'm open to a trade!
