Personally it's not a deal breaker for me, but stacked discs are more likely to get scratched. Also the fact that you have to pull one disc out to get to the other.

It's just not as nice as each disc having its own hub.

Never had a stacked disc get scratched, not even a less-scratch-resistant DVD.
