I know it isn't great for England's UEFA coefficient rankings but glad Spurs are out of Europa. Hate them even bothering with that tourney.

Bloody hell, another clean sheet and another three points for Palace. Wonders will never cease. Two weeks off and then it's Watford at home.

The board at Arsenal need to make a decision and not Wenger its time for change enough is enough now we need someone with new ideas to take us forward this has been going on for years and years i am sick of it now Arsenal come first not Arsene Wenger.

Cheers tob, shame Arsenal couldn't get it done today but it looks like Liverpool are blowing hot again. If you miss out on fourth spot then it really will be time to give Arsene the old tin tack.

Hi guys, was watching MOTD without knowing any results last night. Wish I had never bothered. What a bloody disastrous weekend. We now trail by six points and will need three wins just to get out of the zone now. Our goal difference is bad as well. Never mind, easy win against Man City!

Tob, like you say, time for Arsenal to get shot of Wenger. He looks lost at the moment.

Geoff, like I said, Big Sam working his magic. I wish I had the same confidence about SAFC staying up that I have in Big Sam keeping you up.

Ocean, bad result and a very frustrating one for me as it puts Palace in charge of their own fate completely. (Geoff, won't mind me saying that as there is no sentiment when it comes to survival)

Good luck today, GVortex. Tough game.

I was bored Tob. The last 30 minutes was keep ball for City. The gulf was embarrassing and everyone in the ground knew it would be huffing and puffing and loads of effort in first half only to be gradually put to bed by the hour mark. I just want this season to be over Tob, I'm past caring. I haven't enjoyed it. The entertainment isn't there and we aren't even over the 20 point mark yet.
At least next season, we might be able to rebuild and get rid of some of this absolute dross. Sadly, our hero Defoe will probably be off also.

Mentally, I didn't feel much tension because I accepted championship football a while back. Having said all that, it's hard to admire a team like City. They basically just bought their way to glory but their supporters act like they are the second coming. Makes me sick.

That's the way of modern football, though it's not just us lesser lights who are annoyed by/jealous of the kind of overnight success that petro-riches brings to a football club, as Arsenal fans are tearing their hair out over the current malaise that the club is in.

I really wasn't impressed by City in terms of fans. Giving it large before and after the game, outside the ground. Chants about Championship and generally just leaping around like maniacs and staggering around half cut, letting their mouths run away with them, T******! They only started chanting when they scored as well.

Oh well, some people are morons, what can I say lol.

Not just saying this because of Tob and Penton but Arsenal had a decent craic on the occasions I have had dialogue with them. Certainly not acting like morons like Liverpool and Mancs.

I have a break off here over the weekend, so I wasn't deliberately keeping off here because we lost against Crystal Palace. We just had an off day. West Brom had had a good run recently, so we were going to lose a game sometime. With the exception of West Ham, the teams below us gained ground on us this past weekend (West Ham lost against Chelsea tonight). The loss on Saturday wasn't as hard to stomach, after Everton lost against Tottenham yesterday afternoon. Regarding the goal difference, Everton are 12 goals ahead of us, and I can't see us closing that gap.

There was a classic moment at the beginning of 2 Good 2 Bad on Match of the Day 2 last night, with the Gordon Strachan-style post-match interview.

Yeah, and it's not just modern money that does that. Back when I had my season ticket I saw a lot of different teams go through Selhurst over the years, and of all the teams we hosted one of the few sets of fans giving it large about shitty the ground is was Leeds. Selhurst is a bit of a dump, no argument there, it's just that sometimes being a cock is simply ingrained in a certain club's support.

And I'll always remember Charlton coming to us while we were in administration (the post-Mark Goldberg administration I think, not the later ones ) and chanting "we'll never play you again". Well, the foot's on the other hand now you clowntown ****wits.

We will get a lesson tonight in how to play control football from Bayern and repeat the same mistakes again in the future if we ever get the chance to play in the Champions League again which we don't deserve.

He should walk Tob. It's going to get toxic otherwise.

Holy Christ, Barca have come back from 4-0 down (plus an away goal for good measure) to beat PSG! Unreal.

He has too much power at the club Steedeel and a board who won't make that call also a owner in Stan Kroene who has no interest just business and leaves everything to his son on the board who doesn't have a clue about football.
There is no interaction with us fans Ivan Gazidis was put in by the backing of Wenger as director of the club but he is only a yes man to Wenger and has no contacts or sense when it comes to dealings as he needs Wenger's instructions to do anything.
The time has come for change and when it does i never want to see this club in this position again by having a manager in charge for that long.
The club has to have more of a European mentally where the next manager has a two or three year period to reach certain goals if he fails to do that then we move on to someone else.

Great comeback but P.S.G got it wrong from the start by having everyone behind the ball they should have been more brave going forward when they did that in the second half they caused the Barcelona defence problems.
