I sent Roadshow customer service an email a short while ago, to enquire whether the local set will also include a new remastered version for the standard 1080p Blu-ray, as the U.S. version is being advertised as having this included:

Never bothered with the old BD of this due to the lossy audio so if the BD is remastered I'm definitely nabbing it. If our version is a recycle then it'll be import a-go-go as usual.

I put the whole lossy audio issue behind me sometime ago, when I imported the Hong Kong disc

Seems to be the only one with lossless as well.. too bad WowHD doesn't carry HK titles now or it'd be an easy score. As it is, I suspect I'm better off just holding out for the UHD release, especially if they re-encode the video in AVC. Last time I saw this one was on that awful DVD which was riddled with macroblocking and grey splotches on every blue-sky shot, so typical of crappy Warner Bros DVD jobs.
