Only Patriot made it into the top 10 of the new releases. Looks like they'll probably hold their own next week.
The horizon is looking better beyond that. I can see Blu-ray taking and holding 70% by the end of the month. |

Yep, which goes to show that older catalog titles just don't cut it. Hence, Universal is really in the crapper, since they don't have any new releases worth spit, and they're barrage of old catalog titles hasn't made a single dent in the war and is actaully losing them ground.

I just think that with the recent price reduction of the PS3, these Nielsen/Videoscan BD numbers will keep on impressing and amazes us. When is the earliest we would see the impact of the PS3 pricecut? Two weeks from now?

Ideally we could see it next week, since next Friday's numbers represent this weeks sales, but with it being the PS3, people would probably buy a game before a BD movie, so yea, two weeks is a good guess. One thing I really think we should see: the price cut should move 300 sales more in our favor.
