To be fair (?), he makes some valid points. When the 360 came out I noted it was short sighted. They fixed HDMI but not the disc capacity limits and now we find that it has design issues that kill units.

On the other hand we see that PS2 is still going strong while PS3 gets started. Completely different approach.

He could probably have worded his statements better, but I can't help but agree with much of what he said.

HD DVD will take a lot more beating before it dies - that is my belief.

In the gaming world though, the 360 will need to be replaced well before the PS3 - and we may see two M$ models before the PS4 ... who knows ...!

When the 360 came out they were having problems with over heating. I bought my wife one of those babies for Christmas and in a long line up before store opening to boot. Its been sitting in a closet for 99% of its time with us. Waste of money plus I got the extended warranty.

I agree, though most are optimistic that this holiday season will end it for HD-DVD, I believe they will survive for a while longer. I want this war over and Blu the victor just as much as everyone here, but there is still the majority of the poputation to fight for.

OK, i'm ready for my thrashing now........

just remember, i'm on your side and just my opinion.

Well, for games, the 360 is whupping the PS3, but for movies, Blu-Ray is killing HD-DVD.

From what I've read, I just wish Sony didn't make the PS3 so damn hard to program for.
