I just noticed that Gene Barry is in Those Redheads From Seattle. The only other movie I know of him really is The War of the Worlds-1953 (other than a cameo in War of the Worlds-2005). I am having a hard time imagining him singing in this. I guess it will all come down to "seeing is believing"...in 3D.

See comments from Hedda Hopper about Gene Barry here: http://www.3dfilmarchive.com/those-r...s-from-seattle

We mention this in the commentary. Except for the final fade out, he does not sing or dance in the film!

By the way, that's an open-matte trailer. Here's the correct widescreen version:

Is Rhonda Fleming the actress who appeared on most 3D films?

She's tied at three films each with Joanne Dru and Patricia Medina.

It's worth noting; this will be the first commentary track on a vintage 3-D feature to actually focus on the stereoscopic aspect of the film. While there are other Golden Age commentary tracks, they primarily discuss the cast/crew and any mention of 3-D is simply a casual reference. Our commentary is quite the opposite: cast and crew get brief mentions and the entire focus is on depth.
- And quite possibly the first commentary track on any 3-D feature to focus on stereoscopy. Audio commentaries on 3-D discs are a rarity as it is.

All I can say is it's about time!

Outside of Hillary Hess, I thought the rest of "A*P*E"'s commentary was kind of a drag. Looking forward to the "Redheads" commentary track.

Indeed and that little sample will give you an idea of what to expect from Hillary on the REDHEADS commentary!

It's worth mentioning that both Gene Barry and Guy Mitchell did another musical together, Red Garters (1954). As I recall, Gene actually does a number in that one.

So true and it was Gene Barry testing for RED GARTERS that landed him the role of Johnny Kisco in REDHEADS when John Payne had to bow out.

And RED GARTERS was originally planned for 3-D lensing. Round and round it goes!

Hi Robert,

You'll win it for sure. I still drive a "Saturn" and it too is well preserved.

You don't know how badly I wish Secret of the Incas had been filmed in 3-D!

HTF was always my home base and I freelanced here for a while.

But when the mods allow a statement like this to remain (https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.p...7&postcount=79) then it's time to move on!

It's a pretty good and supportive group we have here in the 3D forum, but elsewhere in some of these forums and subforums can be the wild west.

I participapted in that thread and regret that I didn't speak up at the time.
