Default Sony XBR3 & Sony BDP-s350 PROBLEMS. Need some help

Ok, so I have had the 46 inch xbr3 since December 2006, and finally have converted over to Blu Ray.

I hooked everything up and popped in Spider-Man 3, and found I had to crank the volume all the way up into the 80/100 range in order to get the normal loud sound I am use to when watching movies.

The problem is I normally watch TV, and watch movies on my Xbox 360 HD DVD player at around 27-30/100.

Already, after switching from input to input I thought I was going to blow the speakers out of my TV.

Can anyone tell me what the deal is, and if this can be adjusted?

The picture is what I expected, but so far the sound quality is crappy. Especially when I compare it to my HD DVD player.

HELP!!!

If you are still using only the tv speakers that is the problem. You need to upgrade to different speaker system and leave those tv speakers alone

Have you checked the Audio settings? Each input on the XBR3 has its own audio settings.

YEP! I AM A MORON!! Well, Kind of...

So, the easy 1-2-3 set up wasn't so "easy". In fact it completely left out the audio options. So, as suggested I went in an tinkered with the Audio settings in the BD player and walla...sound is the same on BD player as other units.

Thank you for the suggestion.
