The audio and video quality is good, although I wonder if Blu-ray offers much advantage due to the simple animation style. The only disadvantages are lack of English subtitles, and all background text (title cards, and Lucy's psychiatry booth) been in German only.

I would be tempted to switch to even a DVD release though, if there was ever a release in any English region. As the lack of English text in background can be annoying, especially Lucy's psychiatry booth.
So these do include the dolby 2.0 English dub or not? If yes and you watch that version do the written things on the screen become the US English animation?
Just wondering as they are slowly releasing the English dub on DVD right now.
