Default I need help

I bought a sony 51 inch widescreen t.v 3 years ago and i am about to buy my first blue ray player. My model number on my t.v is KP-51ws510. I looked it up and it said it was 1080 compatible. I just wanted to know if this model will look good with blue ray or will i have to buy any kind of hd cable or a new t.v all togeter.

as long as it supports 1080i or p, you should always have an hdmi output. you get the best picture and sound.
