I like this idea, I also hope you can get some thing related to the game for platinum trophy. Like a naughty dog shirt for Uncharted.

Wow - great idea. (Sony gets sooooo many great ideas for free from these types of forums - I hope they're paying attention.)

Anyway, I think HOME is a bust from what I've seen - although, if they had "trophy money", I'd probably be more likely to log into HOME to see what it got me. In other words, this is a good marketing idea.

we dont even have the full features of home yet, don't write it off too quickly

I assume the best players, or those with the most trophies will have the best HOME spaces and gear inside their Home space.

I dont think people should complain about trophies equaling money especially since all games in 2009 will include trophy support anyways.

I know there are game companies that are unhappy about the sale of used games. Maybe they could include codes for free, exclusive Home stuff with their games to encourage sales.

i think thats awesome though, reward your better players. and it also encourages others to over achieve in games they normally wouldnt try twice in. will also boost sales in games for 2009. psn titles have already seen a boost just for trophy support. i cannot wait for the PS3 to get into full swing!

So if I have X number of trophies that equates to money in home. I spend that money and my wallet loses home cash. But my trophies are untouched right? Like I don't loose anything.

I don't think so, but i'd rather KNOW!

When trophies first came out there were rumoes being thrown around about them equating to money and/or special access to items and areas in HOME. I love trophies by themselves but this would make them even better.

My almost Level 10 450+ trophies should get me quite a nice little virtual pad and wardrobe.

I think it's a great idea. Doesn't work for me though. I mostly play my games on "another" console. I don't even know where to look for my trophies.
I got on Home last night, for the first time. Even though there was not much to do, it's flippin awesome.
