Correct! There are several anaglyph blu-rays out there. But when it comes to Comin' At Ya!, I only know of the anaglyph DVD. Is there a link to this blu-ray version?

Here you go.

Comin At Ya Blu-Ray 3D

Amazon reminded me that I already purchased this, so this is NOT anaglyph.

Maybe Joe can remember the link. Although it shouldn't matter since it sounds like he ordered the right version anyway.

Hi guys,

Here's the link for the one I purchased. Rick, like with Damon,, got it through Amazon, though a seller.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And this is a typical link on eBay that mentions included two pairs of 3d glasses with the blu ray edition.

FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM 4/5
PQ: 5/5
3D: 5/5
AQ: 5/5**

I had seen the movie when it was released in theaters back in November. I remember loving the 3D presentation and thinking "This should be a demo disc when it's released" Thankfully WB answered my prayers. . . . for the most part. I remember enjoying the movie but not loving the film. I would of had the film at a 3.5/5 but have now upped it to a 4 with my home viewing. Like i said earlier, they did a heck of a job with the 3D for a conversion and translated well to disc. Now here is where WB could of gone a bit further. Many people hated the new Ghostbusters, but there is no denying the 3D presentation was amazing. With constant film breaking of the black bars from creatures and other energy beams material escaping them. WB did the same thing for this movie but for IMAX shows only, and we never got that release on this 3D disc. So I'm disappointed that they didn't provide that for us 3D users. The other thing was that they didn't include the **Dolby Atmos track for the 3D disc, but on everything else. Many of their other 3D titles got the Atmos treatment but for some reason skipped this one. Still i must admit, if i didn't have an Atmos setup. The DTS-HDMA track still kicked plenty of ass for sub action and constant speaker engagement. So the disc is amazing, but it seems like WB gave us the Mogul version, and not the magical film breaking/Atmos track filled disc a true wizard could accept.

Final Destination 4 3D - there were some AWESOME and hilarious pop-outs in this movie and I didn't remember liking it much originally. Also, I didn't realize this was part 4 and that a sequel existed so I ordered the sequel. I'll leave a review once my pain levels subside some.

Finally got around to watching Fantastic Beasts myself tonight as well.

The movie grew on me as it went on and the recreation of 1920s New York in 3D was fun to see. Some great coming at you effects and though I thought the actual depth could have been slightly stronger........,

That might have been due to not setting my darbee s5000 to the higher level I use for 3D which brings in more detail and depth than my normal blu ray setting. My bad.

An interesting one this, basically a few musical performances intercut with philosophical musings, all in black and white except for a few shots and one performance in colour. It helps if you know the story of how Nick Cave's son died, as the film doesn't really go into detail on that at all, assuming the viewer is up to speed on the facts.

The 3D shows good volume and naturally pops out but there's nothing really in-your-face about it short of some experimentation with fish eye lenses and a trip down a spiral staircase. There's a fair bit of experimentation all the way through, both visual (the camera wanders throughout, a crane and aerial shots are employed with a zoom out to space) and in terms of the documentary structure. It ends on a series of 3D shots of all the participants' faces/heads, very impressive and an effect that will be totally lost in 2D. Admittedly, depth was often compromised by having backgrounds out of focus but there was a fair sense of space in the studio - not being too showy, the 3D will be deemed pointless by some but for me it just ups the intimacy.

The second disc has three short movies on it, also in 3D. They play more like outtakes and are so short (6m/2m/1m) that they really ought to have been on the main disc.
I ordered One More Time With Feeling but haven't watched it yet. You've got me interested now. Did yours come in a DVD size case? Annoying, because it doesn't fit in with the rest of my collection!

Well, there it is! Interesting. Like Damon, I purchased my copy through Amazon and never realized that ebay.com had an auto-fill error. And that's all it really is, a description error.

Looks like some employee at ebay.com, that sets up the auto-fills, copied/pasted the ‘Detailed item info’ from the anaglyph DVD onto the standard 3D Blu-ray. So they both end up with the same description but of course, the 3D Blu-ray will not actually come with glasses.

Hi Rick,

Sounds reasonable. Could have saved a few bucks if I didn't want to take the risk.

Wonder if this is turning away purchases on eBay like it did with me?

I love this movie, it's also my favorite FD movie next to the original. Actually this was my first 3D experience in cinemas so this is the one that started my love for 3D. Therefore this movie will always have a special place in my heart.

Hi Rocky,

I did a while ago. Thought it was a great action film with great use of 3D.

Then got sidetracked by my "Rocky" inspired dreams about LG.

Well I hope at least you did not dream part 2, where you accidentally knock down 4 brand new Samsung 4K TVs on display when trying to reach for the 3D glasses I throw your way

Hi Rocky,

This is getting weird. You're now doing the screenplay and choreographing my dreams in advance!

Hi Rocky,

And the fifth I'm about to knock down? It's your dream set. And In true 3D tradition, a fist comes out of the screen and knocks me out cold, then everyone in the store runs not to my aid but to the sales people to grab whatever's left of that particular model as I lay motionless on the floor.

Then Rod Sterling walks over and while I'm slowly getting up in the background he says "And when it was thought 3D was on the ropes, it launches another passive knock out punch. Only proving once again to all those nay sayers that 3D will never be dead......, in the Twilight Zone".
