Dang!!

I noticed that their shipping fee on 800 shells is now triple what I paid. Was 48.00 back in 2013 and now it's 120 You would hope that would def. be more expedited but maybe not Says 8-15 Days

Wish we could find a company in the us to make these as well to save us in shipping only reason I haven't ordered any yet is because of shipping and I'd like to get a couple in hand before I place a big order

Wow! He sucks at packing too, just tosses them in a thin box weighing 30 pounds and expects it to spend a month that way. Too bad I'm already committed to these since i have 1000 of them.

Still MIA by the way...

The ones from http://www.videogameboxprotectors.com/store/4569532134 and http://www.retroprotection.com/Steel...ze-G2_c106.htm are really nice. I'd say put in a 10 or 25-pack order and see how you like them. They are fully enclosed and have been crystal clear from my experience.

Do these just fit steels only or do they have some for full slips and such?

Retro Protection does. Has a Lenticular Slipcover listing and one for FullSlips. There are some disclaimers about the size and whatnot so read over them

Hoping someone here can help. Do they make protectors big enough for tins? I have Friday The 13th collection and have Dark Knight trilogy on the way and would like to have some protection for them. Also for Arrow's Donnie Darko, Creepshow 2 and Bride Of Re-Animator. They're roughly the same size as the tins. Thanks.

The guys at Steelbook Central are supposed to be making new shells for tins and HDZeta Box sets soon.

Have you compared them to the Steel Book Central ones? How do they compare in clarity and protection? Retro claims their plastic is over 2x as thick.

Why on earth would they need to be 2x as thick?!
Kinda weird that they have heading "Fullslip" and "Lenticular". Fullslip and Lenticular are not SIZES.
The ones I was referring to earlier with Steelbook Central are going to be specifically for box sets (like HDzeta Gladiator Triple Box, Mad Max: Fury Road Triple Box, etc.). They said they would look into making some for large tins like Band of Brothers, but that that was a little more iffy, since tin sizes vary a lot. hopefully we will see something soon

I'm curious to see what they come up with for HDZ boxed sets. Those things are pretty heavy, and might need hard plastic to compensate for the weight.

Need some for the blufans boxes as well. I'm half tempted to go to my local plastics shop with some measurements and see what they can do for me or even make me a box to hold 4 at a time since I have no other way to protect them and display them

That's how you protect them hmm might try that. Still would be nice if we had a plastic shell like we do for full slips. I have a couple scraps of 1/8h plexi I'm gonna experiment with myself here in the coming weeks

So what do you do when you want to watch the film? Just shrink wrap it again?

Wide/standard release.
Much like keeping the Ferrari in the garage and using the [insert ~$40k vehicle here] for point A-B.

Exactly!!
And if you do a bad job, you just rip it off and do it again!
BTW- there are different types of shrink. Some are like the soft Plastic wrap for leftover food, and some are more "plastic-y".
It works great. Especially for things that will obviously never have a protective case made for it.
