As someone who was born in August, I'm hurt that you people just want to pretend that month doesn't exist.

She might not look like much, but she's got it where it counts.

I have a brother who is three years older than me. He was born in 1976, me in 1979.

At some point when I was a toddler he got the Death Star playset. But before I was old enough to be into Star Wars a few years later we didn't have it anymore. However, my parents used the box for it to store some light up soldiers Christmas decorations. So throughout my childhood, from say age 6-11, I would see this box of this Death Star playset every Christmas and be ticked off that we didn't own it along with all our action figures.

I decided to dig through some old boxes. I found all kinds of stuff. I don't think any of it is worth much except to me.

I found my original C3PO, R2D2, Greedo (with blaster) and a Jawa in a box recently. I have the complete Millennium Falcon also. I had to clean it up because we had a fire when I was a kid and it got smoke damage.

That's in great condition! Mine was played with so much it's hardly recognizable.

Man, I love those old Kenner toys. I used to have so many figures and vehicles as a kid. I have a Millennium Falcon, although it's not my original. I got it at a flea market in the mid-90s but it's missing some pieces like the floor panel, boarding ramp extenders and the remote. However, I do still have a bunch of my original figures (sans all their accessories, of course) and my original Landspeeder.

I got a collector's case with 12 figures, from my aunt for Christmas. Most of them are from 1977, with a couple from the early '80s.

I don't have any of the original figures from the 70s/80s. I prefer the newer more detailed figs they put out with the vintage backing cards.

(I know I didn't have to show off my signed ESB poster too. )

They announced at Celebration that there's gonna TFA figures repacked with the vintage Kenner backing card. Will be getting some of those for sure.

Always wanted the Falcon and an AT-AT.
Had an X-Wing, TIE Fighter and AT-ST (Scout Walker).

Still have around 40 figures loose in a box.

Wish I stopped buying after 1000 items. Go to SEAQUEST DSV Museum on line to see one of my collection. Better than having kids.

Have you not seen Star Wars? That's how it happens in the film.

What does Greedo need a blaster for?

Oh, god, I had a lot of these (not the Kenner, more recent stuff) and I think they are still stored in some box.
I loved the medium-sized spaceships, I had all the imperial Tie Fighters I think but I could never get a B-wing.

I have graduated onto the 1/6 scale Hot Toys and Sideshow Star Wars figures. $200 -250 a pop is hard to do sometimes but I have quite a few. Same goes for the 6 inch Black Series line.
