Just got to my Best Buy they only had two copies of the steelbook. I'm very happy to report it's a 4k and Blu Ray combo pack steelbook. I was quite surprised considering the US only got a blu ray and DVD steelbook.

Yup - my store got only two as well... one with the new releases, and one with the 'featured' items.

Glad I decided to go at 10, as they were both gone by 10:05.

Also surprised it was a 4k edition, as I don't think I can recall any other times (since Best Buy took over) that we got something different than the US...???

Just got back from my lunch break, 12:00 noon and of course my BB sold out......

2 hours since it opened

Asked staff how many did they have, was told 5, YES FIVE!!! what's the point of stocking shelves if you only get FIVE!!!!

BB Canada continues to amaze me,

Still not shipped yet. The addition of the 4K disc is always welcome. Hoping for everything to be in mint condition. BB stated if it's not shipped out this evening then it will be tomorrow morning.

Canada got lucky. Terrance and Phillips must have threatened Lionsgate, eh.

If I wasn't going to buy the Zavvi version, if I buy a SteelBook, I would want this version.

I know what you mean - I had previously pre-ordered a copy, then had buyer's remorse and decided to cancel, and later had canceler's remorse but couldn't re-order online... the option was to buy instore.

When I saw the ad Rabbit posted above though (min 2 per store), that seemed way lower than usual, so went there for 10:00.

I don't understand either which steelbooks will or won't have stock... maybe that's the strategy so people will just start pre-ordering all their steelbooks?

Best Buy marketing dropped the ball on this one - I had planned to skip it for 2 reasons - hated the "cream" colour and wanted 4k for this one - so at the high price point it was an easy skip....then I saw that the ACTUAL product was exactly what I was after - the nicer "white" art and 4k disc!! Of course my local Best Buy was sold out by the time I saw this thread but luckily I was able to reserve a copy at a BB 30 min away, picked it up this afternoon. I hope BB marketing doesn't make a mistake like this again (advertising the wrong details)

I was just like you, but sadly couldnt find the steelbook to reserve/buy

So i had to opt out for the regular UHD, and got the last one at the Burlington Best Buy too.

There was a re-stock that has since sold out. I think there were 13 copies online at one point. Posted on the Best Buy forum.
