I like them both despite their flaws, but I only own the original on blu ray. I'm not sure the blu ray of the remake is much better than the DVD, and so I haven't been as quick to get it.

Thanks for the tip - I found it quite enjoyable. It could have done with a better script, a better actor for a leading man, another 15 minutes of running time, and a production budget over $1.99. You'd be hard pressed to find as many ridiculous coincidences in a film, and

[Show spoiler]that old dude must set some sort of record for quickest confession to murder under the least pressure.

I'd still recommend it though, it's kind of fun.

yeah it's clearly a total cheapie but there's something enjoyable about the vibe of it all.

Word is the B&W version of Logan (2017) will be titled "Logan Noir" and will be included on its upcoming Blu-ray release (5/23). I haven't really thought about it from the perspective of film noir, just more of a "comic book" film with a western feel, but it also does fit many of the themes of noir (or neo-noir) as well. It's a really excellent film, and I can't to see it again.

I thought I was the only one who noticed that this film had a lot of noirish attributes since I didn't see any feedback that brought it up. These were the aspects that I enjoyed the most. To be honest, I wasn't even thinking about the other X-Men movies when watching because I was to engulfed into that noir feeling.

Absolutely! Saw it and several others when they first came out, but too young to appreciate them till a local TV channel had a Film Noir Night each week in the early '60s with this one, Laura, Asphalt Jungle and Kansa City Confidential in particular making these early Noir movies many of my all time favorites.

My copies of Indicator's releases of The Big Heat and Body Double came in. The DVD copy of The Big Heat was loose and scratch and the menu's are mediocre, but this is a good release otherwise.
