The presentation was sublime where I saw it as well (not locally like GITS). So much so that it made my vt60 look like complete trash, then the cinemas was clean and the seats where large with spacious room for your legs (and the seats where all recliners). Even more impressive, the 3d was extremely bright, as in the big screen to my eyes seemed similarly bright to my w7000 projecting around a 110" image (and that projector at home is a light canon). The surround was spot on as well.
If my local cinema was anything like this i'd be there every week without fail. Really impressive stuff. I know a new cinema is being built near me, crossing my fingers it is of the same quality as this and not the current one.

Glad to hear you had a comfortable, very positive 3D theater experience with GOTG2. That's my experience most times with Cinemark, Regal and a couple other big chain theaters. I still remember back in the late 90's when stadium seating became more common in theaters. It made all of the difference and finally eliminated the dread of sitting behind someone taller than you, blocking your view of the screen in a level floor theater. They even added soda cup holders on the arm rests, and with reclining seats too.
I bet your new theater will feature much of what you experienced there. Glad to hear it. I can't imagine any new theater would ever settle for a flat floor compared to stadium seating ever again.
