You have to be kidding me...I checked the date on USA just to make sure it was true.

I saw that movie in Australia at the end of August.

How come it's not getting released until then in the US?

Hi,
Just to confirm that, besides being a great movie with a superb sound, this French Blu-Ray indeed enforces silly French subtitles on the English track. This will go back to Amazon. Why is it that the French have to ruin this always? This is the same on their DVD's ... didn't see this subtitles enforcement in any other country so far (or very rarely).

Taken is one of the better movies I have seen in 2008. I recommend all to see it.

I'm glad to hear that because I was really looking foreward to it ever since I saw the preview in summer but I read a not-so-great review.

Liam Neeson looks so bad @ss in that movie.

Oh yeah ... not only does it enforce French subs on English audio (without English subs available), but it is also Region B locked.
