it disappeared from my cart on dvdplanet and deep discount before I could order. you can't even search it on there either

I believe this has been mentioned in a few other threads. BU changed distributors and are waiting on more to be manufactured. This applies to mostly all there titles as most of them you cant find anywhere.

For people looking to grab this for sane prices it looks like the Australian release is identical to the US disc and is still readily available new for less than the US release is going for used.

As someone already said (post #2983):
"Blue Underground changed distributors and are waiting on more to be manufactured. This applies to mostly all their titles as most of them you can't find anywhere."

So you might want to hold those BU titles off your list for now until their deal with a new distributor is fixed.

I'm not sure exactly when it happened but I suspect that Warner Japan has lost their Miramax catalog rights. Can anyone shed more light on this?

It seems as if "Wake in Fright" is OOP, from Image or Drafthouse films. And I am not region free so I can't get the MOC

If you're looking for specific titles, Screen Archives had the two I was looking for, and because of all of the delayed restockings driving up prices everywhere else, I decided to pad out my order during the Scorpion sale. That sale is over now, but they're having a Twilight Time sale. The BU stuff isn't discounted, but because everywhere else is marking them up, the prices seem cheaper.
